Facility

R&D operations are located within the Texas Tech University Innovation Hub at Research Park in Lubbock, TX. The lab contains a variety of standard lab items and laboratory instruments used in traditional chemical synthesis.  No special equipment is necessary to produce synthetic peptides utilizing GAP technology.  The facility is part of a 40,000 square foot, LEED certified building. All businesses within the facility comply with all federal, state, and local laws, including TTU ordinances, relating to EH&S requirements.

In addition to the equipment in the lab, Researchers also have shared access to powerful analytical tools located at TTU. This includes the NMR facility at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, which houses five high-field NMR spectrometers, and also the TTU Center for Biotechnology and Genomics, which offers multiple options for UHPLC and HRMS analysis.
