GAP Peptides’ research lab is located at the Texas Tech University Innovation Hub at Research Park in Lubbock, TX. Our lab is part of a 40,000 square foot, LEED certified facility. Our equipment list includes two fume hoods, a BSL II biosafety hood, two ultra-low temperature freezers, refrigerator, rotary evaporator, well-plate evaporator, ultra-high speed and a temperature controlled Sorvall LYNX 6000 centrifuge. We have a variety of standard lab items and equipment used in traditional chemical synthesis. No special equipment is necessary to produce synthetic peptides utilizing GAP technology.
In addition to this dedicated equipment, we also have shared access to powerful analytical tools located at TTU. This includes the NMR facility at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, which houses five high-field NMR spectrometers, and the Center for Biotechnology and Genomics, which offers multiple options for UHPLC and HRMS analysis.
As the final step to further guarantee the delivery of quality service and reliable, high-purity peptides, we provide customers with a detailed Certificate of Analysis, prepared by an independent 3rd party, which includes MALDI-TOF and/or ESI HRMS to confirm identity.
